Mark Schregardus holds a BSc. (Information Technology) from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He also holds an MBA from the same institution.

Mr. Schregardus started his career at MCI Telecommunications. After two years he moved to Ovid Technologies in Amsterdam where he held several sales positions throughout Europe. In March 1997 Mr. Schregardus was transfered to Ovid's Asia Pacific head quarters in Sydney where he worked for three years, most recently as the Sales Director for Asia Pacific. In early 2000 he was promoted to International Director and currently overseas Ovid's international operations. Mr. Schregardus was based in the company's European head quarters in London for the last 6 months and just recently moved to New York to work out of Ovid's corporate head quarters. During his career at Ovid Mr. Schregardus has been intimately involved in numerous successful international consortia ranging from regional initiatives to state-wide and nation-wide projects. Mr. Schregardus has been involved with the STIC project since the beginning.
