CONCERT 2001 年年會
2001年10月3日至10月4日

「全國學術電子資訊資源共享聯盟 (CONCERT)」成立屆滿 3 週年，過去 3 年以來，在國科會和教育部的支持及各校的鼓勵下，CONCERT 順利引進 21 個系統 90 個資料庫。為加強聯盟成員彼此聯繫，提供圖書館同仁電子資訊資源與聯盟的相關新知，於 2001 年 10 月 3-4 日，假國立台灣大學應用力學研究所國際會議廳，舉辦 CONCERT 年會。 　　會中專題講演特別邀請 University of Cincinnati 圖書館館長 Dr. David Kohl，主講「在圖書館聯盟引進電子期刊後，從使用統計所衍生的期刊需求的新觀點」；交通大學柯皓仁博士將分享數位圖書館遠距使用者認證及交大在這方面的經驗；及聯盟 13 個資料庫系統製作公司高階管理者，分別就電子資源對知識流通的影響與教學上的利用、資源整合、索摘資料庫與電子期刊的線上出版、電子書市場、連結的發展趨勢與功能、使用者行為研究、PDA 的運用、聯盟對圖書館資訊服務的提升、電子期刊計價方式等主題報告發展趨勢；同時，科資中心國外資源組石組長提出 CONCERT 年度報告，讓聯盟成員對 CONCERT 的現況有全盤的瞭解。除上述專題講演外，尚安排現場系統展示活動。 　　在此次年會中，包括演講者、貴賓、各會員單位來賓、以及各資料庫系統廠商代表等，總計約 240 人參與。年會中各演講者之演講內容簡報檔案頗具參考價值，本組已經徵得演講者同意，將簡報檔置於網頁提供下載參閱，請於日程表內各講題名稱點選參閱。 本中心孟憲鈺主任與全體主講人及蒞會貴賓合影 日　程　表 10 月 3 日 (星期三) 時　間 主持人／主講人 說　　　明 08:30-09:00 報到並領取資料 09:00-09:10 孟憲鈺主任 行政院國家科學委員會科學技術資料中心 開幕 09:10-10:00 Dr. David Kohl Dean & University Librarian, University of Cincinnati New Tools, New Data, New Ideas: Electronic Collection Use and Collection Building in the New Millennium 10:00-10:20 石美玉組長 行政院國家科學委員會科學技術資料中心國外資源組 CONCERT 2001: Status Report 10:20-10:40 休息 (附茶點) 10:40-11:10 Ms. Eva Au Managing Director, Lexis-Nexis Asia Pacific How Electronic Research is Changing the Way We Think 11:10-11:40 Mr. Matt Dunie President, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts All Search Platforms Are Created Equal－Myth or Reality? 11:40-12:10 Mr. John Ben DeVette Asia General Manager & Asst.
